Judas Iscariot - To Embrace the Corpses Bleeding CD
On his 6th LP, Judas Iscariot illustrated that his conservatism and devotion to an orthodox strain of BM paid off with one the best LPs in all of USBM. Rarely do bands get stronger as time goes on, but JI is a prime example of this as his most powerful albums are the last two in his discography. This is the pay off for sticking to one simple theme over an entire career.
'To Embrace' is by far the most professional and competent sounding JI album, with tight and fast drumming and the fullest production quality that the band ever utilized. All of the elements of JI are there: tasteful key boards, soaring and grim riffing, and understated vocals - and each is utilized to its potential maximum power.
